The first collaboration with dancer Niels Plotard and performance artist Abigail Agius took place in Januari 2024. In one week, a research was initiated into listening to the rocks of Malta. Specifically focussing on the abandonded quarries, with its rythmic drilled traces and large shards of rock formations. Malta is an island enduring a continuous excavation for materials. The rock carries the vibrations of drilling and tearing, as well as the ancient tremor of waves crashing  into the coastline. Feral and domestic movements come together in this sediment. What does it mean to live together with the rock?

A playfull and experimental first encounter has taken place in the form of body movements, sound recordings and documentation. In a second visit this research will be continued.
